Privacy Policy
What we collect
Nothing. The app has no accounts, no sign-in, no analytics, no advertising, and no tracking. We don't receive your name, email, location, health data, contacts, photos, or any other personal information.
What the app stores on your iPhone
Workouts you log, workout templates you create, your pinned goal, and your settings (such as lb or kg and rest timer length) are saved only on your iPhone. They aren't sent to us or anyone else. Deleting the app deletes them.
Apple Health
Saving to Apple Health is off unless you turn it on in the app's Settings. When it's on, each workout you finish is saved to Health as a Strength Training workout with its start and end time and an estimate of active calories burned, so it appears in Health and the Fitness app and counts toward your Move ring. To estimate calories, the app reads your most recent body weight from Health. That is the only Health data it reads, and it is used only on your iPhone for that estimate. Health data is never used for advertising or marketing, never shared with third parties, and never stored anywhere other than Apple Health on your device. You can change or turn off access any time in the Health app under Profile → Apps → Gains in Progress.
Notifications
If you allow notifications, the rest timer schedules a local alert on your iPhone when rest is over. Nothing is sent over the internet.
Network use
The app works fully offline and doesn't connect to any server we run or to any third-party service.
Sharing
If you tap the Share button on a workout, iOS opens its standard share sheet and you choose where the text goes. We never see or receive what you share.
Apple
Apple may collect crash reports or usage statistics from your device if you've turned those on in your iPhone's settings. That's handled by Apple under Apple's Privacy Policy, not by us.
Children
Because the app collects no data from anyone, it collects no data from children.
Changes
If this ever changes, we'll update this page and the date above before that version is released.
